Chef - full time 

We are currently looking for a chef who is ready to take the next step and head up their own small kitchen.  Our cafe / cooking school is set to open mid-January with the position having a start date of 10 Jan 2018.  Open in the day for breakfast and lunch, the cafe will close to hold private recreational cooking classes in the evening.

You will play an important role at Heart of Hall delivering an on trend and cost effective menu which is focused on a variety of ready to go options for commuters, a light dine in menu and ready to go meals from the fridge for home. You will provide significant input on menu planning and quality control as well as being responsible for all aspects of food safety.  

Primarily focusing on establishing the commercial kitchen for the Cafe, there will be opportunity to grow in this full time roll incorporating cooking cooking classes and demonstrations.  If you love coming front of house and being creative along with developing great relationships with small producers and suppliers  - this is the job for you.

Working with a small casual team to supplement your hours, you will initially be working from 7.00am - 3.00pm over four week days and one weekend day, with opportunity to move should you become incorporated into cooking school classes.

Our cafe and cooking school is looking for an experienced barista to lead a team of casual staff.  This is your chance to work in a fun environment with like minded people who are passionate about food and customer service. There is opportunity for the right person to move into a full-time position. 

Our cafe is fitted out with a brand new Linea PB machine and is serving locally roasted, ethically sourced, premium coffee.
