Pinterest has exploded with pictures of delicately decorated butter cakes topped with fresh flowers. Working with the very talented Eriko from Something Small Florist in Challis Street, Newport we have developed a class dedicated to this art.
This beautiful cake decorating techniques requires knowledge in both baking and Floristry.
In this hands on class you will have the opportunity to work with experts in both areas. While Heart of Hall's Chef Kate will take you through the process of making the perfect frosting, assembling and preparing your cake, Eriko will introduce you to the techniques required in selecting, preparing and assembling your floral arrangement to top your cake.
Every participant will leave with a three tiered cake, personally frosted and decorated with your very own hand picked and prepared floral arrangement.
Classes are $155 and include a glass of Prosecco, your cake and floral arrangement, cake board and light meal.
