If you have ever wondered how to make your own jams and marmalade, reducing waste from your trees and making the most of fruits when they are in season then this is the cooking class for you.

Tracy is a local Newport resident and Mum of three sons having lived in the area for 15 years.  Her father is an urban farmer and has always had fruit trees producing ample amounts of fruit.   Wanting to provide a lifestyle for her family that keeps food waste to a minimum, as well as wanting to provide delicious pantry items, Tracy has become known by the locals of Newport as well as her family for her wonderful artisan jams, chutney, marmalade and preserving, making the most of her fathers small crop. 

We are delighted to have Tracy join us at Heart of Hall for a series of Pantry Staples Classes.  In this first class Tracy will take you through the principals of making delicious jams and marmalade and will lead you in a hands on experience of making your own.

This class is $95 and includes:

  • A hands on cooking experience and demonstration,
  • Clear instructions and recipes on making some wonderful jams and marmalade,
  • Some take home samples of jam,
  • Access to our private Heart of Hall Cooking School online chat group.
